These are a real boon to anyone converting a to Fst. They are great looking (Jim is a talented designer) and priced right and can save a converter a ton of precious time. Based on how well the Mission FST was ending the straightaway at Road America last year I'd say they were pretty aero-efficient too.
I'd also bet they would also work well on most FV's.
FYI the Chinese VW tins are about $25

I'm also on side of charging between sessions. Volts are only one side of the equation, you also should check the amps i.e. cold cranking amps of a battery to know its true health. In my Vee's with either a 18ah or 20ah batteries with the stock Vee starter or even the high torque starter after a cold car start up, the battery would almost always go down to 80% capacity. I'm using a high end digital charger which monitors both Volts and Amps.
I like the solution Scott used for the steering rack. It was one of the conversion tasks that I had to change a few times before my set up worked.
My new kinda wizzy bit is a one off small custom steering made by a Vee friend.
Happy New Year to all!!
Those scoops look good. One note, if you could radius the inside of the leading edge it will increase the efficiency of the scoop tremendously. I just did this to a set of Lynx scoops and the head temps went down about 30 deg. I also had a pressure sensor inside the scoop, above the cylinder, and the pressure went up.

My FST is not running so I'll submit my Wizzybit I'm working on tonight.

Garry,
Looks like you have plenty of channels on that new DA system!

"Wait, which one is the gas pedal again?"
OK, so I made this big deal about mounting my new NPower charger inside the car and how trick it would be. Well, just got done pulling it all out as I have gone "green".
Looked at a thread here on Apexspeed talking about solar battery chargers. So, I looked at Northern Tool and sure enough, NPower has a 1.5 amp solar charger. My dreams have come true . Went back to the old 2-wire plug and will hang my fancy solar panel (3" X 15") on the frame of my newly rebuilt 20 year old Campbell Motorsport canopy system. It came with 16' of cable, so I just plug in as I wish.
I'm as happy as can be.

Can't wait to see it. I have a 15ah cell array in the Toter. We could try that on your car.
Now if you convert to E85 and set your tire pressures to 30psi, you will be fully green.
