The 520 chain is good for autox only as 530 is needed for RR.

Thanks.
These were spares of a Stohr DSR and everyone does use a 530 that I know of in DSR these days.
I thought with lighter F600 cars, less tire and less HP a 520 may be a viable alternative. Might be worth a Dyno test to see if it makes any difference with a lighter chain and sprockets.
We use 530 chain and sprockets for our 600s as that is the size sprockets and chain that most of the 600 bikes run. However 520 will work IMO.

530 has kind of become the default due to it being compatible with 50 series industrial gears which are common on cars that use a jack shaft. I don't see why you couldn't use 520 if you are willing to pay the cost to machine the industrial gears narrower or is direct drive so you can use normal MC sprockets.

In F1000 most use a stock front engine sprocket with a bearing welded in the center for idler pulley chain adjustment.
We ran 520 in F5 and F6 with no problems, just changed to 530 as we were using it for primary chain in the F6. As Chris commented, industrial 50 sprockets work fine with 530 and I no longer had to do so much machining. Can't say that we have been able to see any hp loss.
What engine are the front gears for and what's the bolt circle on the axle gears?
The front sprokets in the pics are Yamaha R-1's. They could be used to weld in a middle bearing for an adjustable idler gear to tension the chain.
Rear sprockets are standard 4 1/2" across OC of holes.
Rear sprockets fit Taylor Quaife, Taylor and WRD diffs. Taylor/WRD/ICP can machine any custom items you need.
