In the various Vintage Racing Organizations in the U.S., what are the cutoff years for the Formula Fords? Is there anywhere for one who owns a 1986 model Swift, Reynard, Van Demon, etc. race in a newer yet vintage class?

Acceptance varies by organization, so its important to check with the groups you plan to join. Most will take cars built up until Dec. 1972 for vintage FF on treaded avons or dunlops.
Some groups allow 1973 through 1981 cars on treaded tires or hard compound slicks. The run group may be composed of newer and much faster cars such as FB and FSV.
Some groups may ask you to present your car for acceptance to ensure it is "period correct."
