    Default winch type

I am going to replace my winch with one that uses plastic coated nylon rope...no tangles and way less friction. Found some, but they are pricey. I might try to buy one from harbor freight and replace the cable with rope...

Does anyone have experience with it?

Sho, that winch will work great. I have the smaller size from the same manufacturer and it works great. Good price too!
