For Sale Stohr F1000 chassis 002 for sale

    Stohr F1000 chassis 002

I purchased this car in December 2008 for track day use. My previous track experience had been limited to a fast street car (Ariel Atom). Though the Atom is fast, I was not really prepared to make this big a jump. It’s a great car, but just too intense for me at this point. I’m selling it, a bit sadder, but wiser as they say.

From the beginning I set the rev limiter in the Mychron about 800 below the redline for the 2005 GSXR engine. Plenty of power for my non-racing aspirations and the engine remains in great shape through the twelve track days the car saw in 2009. Since my purchase I have added the C/F floor that bridges the steering rack. This significantly improves driver comfort since the rack is right where my calves want to be. When purchased, the car had a push-pull paddle shifter and a paddle actuated clutch. I replaced that setup with the more typical foot operated hydraulic clutch and double paddle shifter. All components have been purchased directly from Stohr Cars West. I also had the header Jet-Hot coated and applied the gold foil (bulkhead) and engine compartment ventilation measures to the car per Stohr recommendations.

In addition to the photos, I have some video of the car in action at Hallett - http://vimeo.com/8279144

Additional items purchased for the car and included in the package are MK Technologies parallel string toe bars, front and rear quick lifts, and Chicken Hawk Racing Digital Pro-Line tire warmers. The tire warmers are complete with custom fitted carrying cases and Pit-Bull stands for the controllers.

I’m asking $42,500 for everything listed below

Why the Canadian McDonald's sign? Maple leaf in the middle of the golden arches. Just wondering, being a frostback and all.

The original owner was a McDonald's franchise holder in Canada. I liked the look of the car and have left is pretty much as-is graphics-wise. The car looks excellent in person.
