What class would a FV with a 1600cc VW engine fit into? Trying to categorize it for a Time Trials class. TT can run all the GCR classes plus some specials.

since 1600 ff is in CM, then 1600 vw should also be cm.
it may also depend on what cam and how many carbs (or FI?) are on the car
I'm sure a 1600 with dual 40mm and/or hot cam would be different than cm
FV/FST/FV1600 is in FM with F500 and now Legends.

In FM, the 1600's are allowed two Weber 44 IDF carbs, any non-roller cam, 10:1 compression ratio, and 40 mm intake and 35.5 mm exhaust valves.
Sorry, but I am looking for a road race class to put them in. FST has a few "shall" modifications which would drop this car out. It does look like FS would fit even without the wings. The guy just wants a place to run his car in TT.
SEDIV TT is very accomodating. We can usually find a class for every car.

Most Solo Vee's do NOT have GCR legal roll hoops, especially the front, or side impact protection. Also most do not have a fuel cell or fire extinguisher. If the car is really geared for Solo, its top speed is probably less than 100 mph.
The Nediv PHA series has a Solo Vee class, othereise the car would be a Special or a FS. Either way the car would need a formula spec GCR cage, TT fire bottle to run a level3 or 4 event. I believe that fuel cells are not required in TT.
