Anyone get any photos from group two? Anything would be great... It was my first SCCA race and no pictures

It went really well. I finished second both days in FE. And on Saturday had Class and Overall Group Pole, using some good strategy before the rain came. Hopefully everything I need will fall in place for me to go to the Sprints! Fingers crossed.

Not in the cards to run the regional. I know the track well enough so I'm hoping to adapt pretty quickly in the new car at the Sprints.

Yeah - I was there to learn the track. I've only driven there once before, and that was in a rental last summer. First time in the car + first time at the track = . Given my poor performance this weekend, I'm just hoping I got all the bugs out before the Sprints....

Hey guys. My friend Dave took a crap ton of pictures over the weekend for both our race group and Group 1 where my other friends were running.

My guess is you'll find some of you in there Cole. I take all payments in beer.
Glad to see you again Marshall and sorry about quali again on Sunday.
Overall it was a fun weekend (minus my best friend piling his car into the wall in Canada and making a trip to the hospital) I went and ran on my old tires from last year (which at least are consistent) and tried to tweak and screw around with the car from the base settings we used last year and I found some good speed in the last race from an aero perspective on the straights. I gotta have something for all the FB's showing up at the Sprints outside of thumb tacks. I also need to learn how to get a fricking good start this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great photos - thanks for sharing them!
No worries - you didn't do anything wrong, you just happened to catch up to me at an inconvenient spot. It's the luck of the draw in mixed qualifying sessions. Besides, the tow you gave me up the front straight the next lap more than made up for it!Glad to see you again Marshall and sorry about quali again on Sunday.
Now, there's a FC driver that I need to have a talk with next time I see him....but that's another story.

Good snaps, thank you for sharing. Looks like FAs need some more attendance. Tough economy, but thank you for sharing. Makes me want to become much less prudent. I hope all enjoyed.

Was a great weekend except for the unexpected moisture falling from the sky. I tried taking pics for Cole but of course my camera battery went dead. Great job Cole and Marshal and everyone else who drove. This was the first weekend I driven my protege5 around the track at a decent click...and it survived yeah! Just don't mind the part I picked up that fell off when I got on track in the morning

I think I saw Chris wearing his helment on Sunday up in 2. Probably just in case somebody needed to have their car driven back to the padock..
My wife snapped a few group 5 photos inbetween biting her nails. We'll set her up with the good lense for the 40th!

I think that is the one you end up with after you 'fubar' your original nose.
hideous, I'd say.

Marc,
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." I think John LaRue made/had the mold for this nose? Myself, I think it gives the DB1 a new look to a old face.

"Wait, which one is the gas pedal again?"
New nose and all, it's good to see the Fubar machine on the track again! I hope you are planning to do the 40th. See you there.
