Sure, it's a perfectly good choice. Some of the FE guys are from Karting & fit right in. I started in & ran F440 & then F500 for 10 yrs. & then bought a Ralt RT5 SuperVee which I ran in FA a few years before switching it to the FS class & now run it with the Hayabusa engine in FS. I didn't have any unusual problems adapting to the new car/class & am happy I made the change. Lost a lot of my hair trying to keep that snowmobile CVT properly set up in the 89 Red Devil for every little change in temp, belt wear, etc!
