Awww, come on guys, it's so simple. Maybe you need a refresher course. Hey! It's all ball bearings nowadays.
The North East is a strange strange place....
I assume I can step on the front wing like that from now on?

Wing bowl? Looks like a cult gathering... who mixed the kool-aid?
The story is I've retired from full time driving so we've promoted Brendan Puderbach to pilot of the 06 Van Diemen which currently has a bent front wing from a cameraman standing on it. As part of our 2008 program we've upgraded our sponsor package with the addition of the Just Sports chain of sports themed bars and nightclubs which are largely in the Philadelphia area. One of their other busines partners is El Wingador who is a multiple time wing eating champion with his own line of products. In conjuction with Just Sports Bars & Nightclubs, Greisiger Motorsports was on hand at the "Wing Bowl" which takes place at a sold out Wachovia Center in front of 25,000 fans. Greisiger Motorsports was there to support El Wingador in his efforts to win another national championship.
As crazy as that all sounds to me, I was sitting at a casino table in Atlantic City a couple weeks ago listening to my dealer discuss in great detail how she was unable to get tickets for the Wing Bowl as it sold out in 45 minutes. The pit boss was unable to get tickets as well. After telling her we shared some marketing activities with El Wingador, this dealer went on to tell me everything everyone might ever want to know about El Wingador. Very Very Very close to a stalker! Does it make any sense to me? NO.. but, a couple million Philadelphia are fans are absolutely crazy about this event and we were proud to be part of the spectacle.

Wow.
Clark is right. It's a cult. Nobody could ever get that excited about chicken wings.

Doug:
That explains it. After our son Dave spent four years at Temple University in Philly, he has come home a very different kid. (Who took our son?)
It must be the air in Philly - or the steaks - or the wings or ....
John D.
I believe the winner (the last 3 yrs in a row now) is from the west coast ...its not just a "Philly" thing...
it was perhaps the single most ridiculous thing i've ever been to in my entire life.
When we rolled the car out and they announced were were part of wingadore's entourage the place EXPLODED. The crowd was DEAFENING and overpowering the music they had playing on the PA. Lunatics pounding on eth hockey glass, jumping over rows, chanting screaming, and obviously drinking.
In the pic we were leading 25k spectators in a "WING-A-DORE" chant. The rest of the entourage is out of frame but all told we were about 35.
As for the camera man, that nose was pretty beat up to begin with, plus it they are covereing the damages. The vid he was shooting was being broadcast live on all the jumbo tron's in the stadium. It was worth the glass work, and oddly enough it really isn't too bad. I'm amazed it held up under his wight especially since he was there going along for a ride for 30-40 yards.
FYI the girl in the car was one of the wingettes, she did a fantastic job (and is a sweetheart) and won the title of miss wing bowl, with the honor comes a brand spankin new Scion.
WINGBOWL: Juvenile. Insane. Ridiculous. Asinine. Disgusting. Gluttonous. and whatever other derogitory terms you can come up = FUN AS ALL HELL!!!!!!!!
only in america folks.

Looks like the event used up a good set of rubber(s) there too. How deep did the chicken wing grease "penetrate" the slicks?
CREW for Jeff 89 Reynard or Flag & Comm.
I have to say I thought it was some really good computer imaging work when I saw the dude with the camera appearing to be standing on the wing. I might have had to knock him out if it was my car. But the whole deal with the "sweet girl" getting the "brand spankin new Scion".........how much spankin was there Brendan?......oh wait.....I shouldnt ask that. A gentleman never tells.
It all looks a little crazy so now Im sad I never saw it live.

Brenden,
The chick getting out of the car, was that one of your Golden Horse girls? OR was that one of the chicks from the "Golf Course" (man I hope that isn't someones wife)
Only you guys, lol
no she wasn't a gold horse girl. She's doesn't even work at a gentleman's club. In fact she's legit dancer (choreographed cheerleader type stuff) for philly's professional soccer team.
