    Default Hoosier Radials

I just got back from Sebring and wanted to comment on the new radial tire.I believe Hoosier did an outstanding job on this new tire.I ran over 200 miles on 1 set and was very pleased on longivity and wear.I put 10 heat cycles on that set and the tire seemed to only give up about a 1\2 a second in the end.I still have some work to do and I am waiting to see what other teams think.Good Job to Hoosier Tire.

Are those a spec compound for the F2000 series? Or are they offered in the range of compounds?

    Thanks.

My understanding is it is the new radial tire that is available in 25 and 35 compounds. The pro series is limited to the 35 compound. Also word has it they like LOTS of negative camber. YMMV

Talked with Defer today. He reported that he liked them better than last year's Hankooks. He said he couldn't tell a difference in "feel" from the bias tires. He seemed real pleased with the new radials.
