It was a pretty healthy turnout this weekend. I missed seeing Saturdays race but I can tell you there was a fairly serious incident on the warm up lap (or first hot lap) on the back straight between a B car and a FFord. Lowell Blossom and Dan Baker I believe. I spoke to Lowell on Sat after the sports racer race and he was OK but taking it easy for the rest of the day. Dan was taken to Lakeridge Hospital in Bowmanville but I have not confirmed further details.
Sunday brought with it a safer run, with the race of the day being between the March of Glyn Walters and Jamie Britnall's Hawke DL2. It was a real scorcher out there this afternoon so with out my notes and pics, I can offer few other details.
Took lots of pics and by tomorrow I will have had a chance to post some and possibly some results if they are not already up.

It was Bob Baker, not Danny.

'Cause there's bugger-all down here on earth!
Hey Jon, sounds like a great weekend other than the incident between Baker and Blossom. Could you give us an S2 report that I can share with others? I believe they run with wings 'n things...

I've heard a report that Tom Burge was following, got hit by a piece of debris that damaged his roll bar (!) , split his helmet and just about knocked him out. Very scary incident.

Peter - I wish I had more information on the S2000 race - I had to dash after the Vintage Sports Racers.
You guys have a heck of asalesman in Cap Chenowith, he would not stop going on and on about how much fun it is!
On a related note, I came across a Tiga SC 80 that I used to wrench on over decade ago. Good to know it is still in Ontario and looking great. It was his first event in the car
( his name? did I mention the Sun fried my brain on Sunday?) and judging from the smiles on his face, having a great time.
I downloaded the pics onto my desktop - I'll jump over there and upload them as promised.

2007 VARAC Vintage Festival - Monoposto Classic Class. Mosport, Bowmanville ONT.
There were more cars than this - I aplogize in advance if I didn't post your pic.
The last car is my favorite..... I let my good bud Tim drive the car back to the trailer. The 16F is so pretty it even makes him look good.
