Default Blackhawk Farms National Part Deux 5/19-20

Let's do this again! Maybe this time I'll keep the car in one piece... Registration is due tomorrow. No online registration for this event.

Who've we got? We had 11 FCs last weekend. Lets go for more!

    Default Hutch-is-on

That's assuming we get our hub, drive pins and wheel back from the machine shop in time...

Fingers are crossed, looking forward to a better BHF Part Deux.

Default If it weren't for bad luck, we'd have none....

After qualifying in the tail end of the lead pack of FCs, we had a catastrophic failure of a CV-Joint on lap 2 going into 3D.

So how did everything end up? We bugged out of there and the results were on hold because of a protest in action. What happened to Tomasi? Brian and Nikki were nose to tail for a good while from what I could see from turn 4 and then Nikki was by himself.

    Default BHF results - official

The results were delayed due to a protest filed by Kinsfader against Thomson for blocking. The protest was denied and the preliminary results finalized at about 4 pm.

Tomasi and Nikki were nose to tail - great fun to watch. Brian did have a linkage failure.

    Default The Apexspeed machine

    BTW,

Closed circuit to KC - didn't see you finish and wondered why. Then I saw your car on the hook while I was in impound. Good to see it wasn't worse.

    Thanks Ron,
We're keeping our fingers crossed that the gearbox is still ok. We'll find out soon enough. We'll hopefully be back at it for the Sprints. Maybe Road America will be nicer to us than Blackhawk was.

Oh, btw... I did get the data cable to work after I found a DIN5 connector which had pin3 go through the connector to the other side so I could solder a lead to it. Thanks again!
