    Did anyone else see this?

Great to see F2000 coverage hit the big time. Nice picture of T1 at The Glen.

Boy, I'll bet those F2000's running the 'older Ford Kent engine' will be at a real disadvantage to the Zetec guys.

Nah, I heard the big green trailer this year will have real time capability to adjust the ecu's of the zetecs if the lead gets too big. Or there will just be a debris caution.

Stand by for an announcement regarding Webcasts from each F2000 Championship Series race weekend through a partnership with competitor Clark Cambern and his organization Speedcast Productions [www.speedcastproductions.com].
TV is good, but Webcasts have a greater reach, can be accessed anytime of day or night,
and we are involved in content. The plan is for in-car cameras, interviews, voice over dialogue and race footage from trackside. Multiple outlets, 10 minute highlight shows, coverage of each weekend and race throughout the season.

John Nesbitt- Why do you say the Pinto cars will be at a disadvantage? The Zetec ECU map vs the Pinto is about as close as it can get at the moment, thanks to a group that did a controlled back to back test last November at Summit Pt. That map (and restrictor) has been adopted by both the East and West Pro Series as well as SCCA FC.

Bob - I think John is referring to the "older Kent engine" quote from the website. I don't think the Pinto is a Kent engine. The Kent's were English, whereas Pinto was German Ford.

I was quoting the story on the Speed website which referred to the 'older Ford Kent engine' in the F2000. Last I heard, I was running a Kent in my FF1600.

I stand corrected...didn't register the "kent" when I read it...those would certainly be at a disadvantage

I've always wanted to be in show business......
Maybe I could do the color commentary and interviews? I'm see my role as like a Borat meets Days of Thunder kind of thing.... Make like I know nothing - and insult everyone at the same time......
But if there is any type of casting couch involved - count me out....

OK Matt, we've counted you out.
By the way, Nicole is in charge of the casting...
