Reviving my search to break into the FST scene

Hello Everyone,

A few years ago I did some browsing and was very close to pulling the trigger on joining you all and finding a ride.

Well after some time, things have improved and I was hoping to start looking at what's out there.
I'm 5'9" around 185lbs and in the greater Columbus, OH area. I'm in the military so sometimes my availability blows with the wind but my soon-to-be wife and I expect to be settling down here.

I've had a dream of building a FST car and throwing my BMW R18 engine in it (that would just be stunning). However, I'm no engineer and that's just for dreams. I'd love to get that motorcycle sold and get into racing with you fine folks. I've been stuck with my sim rig for the past few years and while super fun, will never compare!

Just exploring right now, I can't break the bank with a wedding and honeymoon on the horizon (coming this June!) But I would love to get into some serious talks, and to learn more about what it takes to join and contribute to the group.

If you really know what an FST is, you will most likely have better results on the FST facebook group. I've not seen many FST posts on this site in recent years. The 'center' of FST is in the Chicago area, but there are a few scattered around in other states.
