Default Another RFR/Firman F1000 suspension parts WTB thread!

    Hey all,

Recently became the owner of an F1000 project, now looking for some bits to get it back on track:
    • right hand front arms
    • pushrod, steering rod
    • front wing

I could probably go the DIY route for the wing, pushrod, steering rod but it would be great if somebody is willing to part with those wishbones please!

    I’m located in Sydney Australia.

    thanks!

Or for a Plan B, would anybody happen to know if there are wishbones from other cars that might be the same as the RFR ones?

Eg the upper wishbones look very close to the widebody VD arms, but I don't have access to those to measure up.
The lower arms have a different bearing housing (is that the right name?) where it meets the upright to the Van Diemens so sadly they won't fit.

Never thought of this before but maybe check compatiblity with FE (Formula Enterprise). I believe the orginal FE's were designed by Van Diemen, which might mean the same designer (Dave Baldwin) might have been involved. The F1000 suspension is shaped differently (flatter) but the pickup points and geometry might be the same or very close. Worth looking at I guess.

This is useful info, thanks gents!

I'll hold out for a bit longer in case something comes up locally, before checking in with Brad and looking into FE (I don't think these are around in Aus)
