Formula Continental Townhall Meeting

Those of us that planned the Formula Continental Challenge Series will be hosting a Formula Continental Townhall meeting on Zoom, this Sunday at 7PM eastern time. The goal of this meeting will be to help out new and prospective drivers, discuss growth plans for FC, network, and get cars out on the track in 2025. We do not plan to get too into the weeds discussing class rules during this call. John LaRue will be moderating! If you wish to attend, please use the following form to register:

The first FC Townhall meeting is in the books! We had a solid turnout of 17 participants and well over an hour of valuable discussion. If you weren't able to make this meeting, we will continue to hold these meetings monthly so you will have more opportunities to join.

One area we identified for growth for FC was on social media. In an effort to grow the online presence of FC and bring awareness to the class, we have created Instagram and YouTube pages for FC content. Rather than managing sign ups like the previous meetings, this one will be open invite. Anyone with the following can attend. It might be worth everyone taking a moment to review the current participation figures that can be found at https://www.scca.com/pages/majors-participation-2

FC is lagging behind FF, FA, & FE2. There are good pre-entry numbers for Pitt which will help.

Please check out the town hall - let Rock know in advance what topics you would like to discuss whether they be participation or technical. Normally "Too Fast" Tim Minor and Michael "Champ" Varacins are on the call and are usually more than willing to help the rest of us out with technical "go faster" questions.
