Default Looking at getting a Shrike...thoughts?

HI S2000 people. I'm looking at getting into sport car racing, and looking at S2000, and possibly a Shrike. Thoughts on the P15 and S2000 as a whole? Also, I'm just a "hair" under 6'0", and 225lbs. Will I fit in the car? Thoughts...thanks.

    Default My S2 $.02

I'm no expert on the Shrike but I have owned a DB2 and a Van Diemen S2 (currently for sale - shameless plug) and enjoyed the driving experience in both and I expect you could have a great time in the Shrike.
Do try it, and any other car you're considering, on for size before you buy, though.
I'm 6'0" and 185lb with long legs and size 12 feet and I just barely fit in the VD. The DB2 was a bit better fit but still tight.
One thing I like about the VD is the open wheel arches that allow checking tire pressures and wheel nut torque without having to remove the bodywork (usually a two person job). Something to consider on the Shrike with all 4 wheels enclosed in fiberglass.
    Cheers!
    W
