    Default Formula F/1600 Racing USA

As many of you have heard by now, SCCA has decided that the small open wheel group doesn't fit with their HST plans this year. While I'm not quite over the negative feelings about that, I am happy to join Tony Stefanelli in his efforts to further improve FF participation for 2025 and beyond. Tony has started a new FB page for input, discussion and even help/guidance questions for the community, found here:

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/formulaf1600racingusa

Tony has also hosted a couple Zoom meetings, although tonight's had a small crowd compared to last week. The current plan is weekly meetings on Thursday nights, 9pm EST, to discuss ideas and see how we can work together to grow the FF presence at all SCCA events. The Zoom meeting details will be posted on the FB page and probably here too.

As Jonathon Lee had posted last week, the 2025 Bonus Majors Schedule for FV, FF, and F600 are:

    • Feb. 8-9, 2025: Sebring International Raceway, Sebring, FL, Central Florida Region
    • May 3-4, 2025: VIRginia International Raceway, Alton, VA, North Carolina Region
    • May 31-June 1, 2025: Watkins Glen International, Watkins Glen, NY, Glen Region
    • July 18-20, 2025: Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Braselton, GA, Atlanta Region
    • Aug. 9-10, 2025: Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Lexington, OH, Ohio Valley Region

Anyone making plans to go to these events? If so, which ones?

    Default my schedule

Hey guys, I waited for the replacement majors schedule and when it came out was disappointed, We can usually get all our majors/super tours in before the Canadian F1600 season starts or at least fill in certain dates mixed in with ours. But unfortunately only one of these dates will work for us and it is Sebring. However, we plan on doing 3 Southeast majors and 3 Northeast majors to get whomever we can qualified for the Run Offs. I did join the FB group but for whatever reason it will only allow me to view. Tried dropping out and rejoined but same result. Would like to get that fixed. We did 8 SCCA events last year plus the Run Offs, doing my best to support FF, if anyone is looking for a car for use at any of our planned races, I can help.
