Florida Power & Light Company is looking for more High School teams to sponsor in Electrathon as part of their support for STEM programs (Science, Technology, Electronics, Math). Any High Schools in the Florida Power and Light service area are welcome to apply. Support includes a complete kit to assemble an electrathon race vehicle with chassis, controller, and motor. Teacher support includes lesson plans and financial stipends.

FPL is also stepping up to organize Electrathon races including a successful event at 5 Flags in Pensacola and another at the Engineering Expo and Car Show at Florida State College in Jacksonville.

The next race will be at Homestead Miami Speedway on Saturday June 8th. All Electrathon teams are invited. Spectators are welcome.
