Default Van Diemen conversion to F1000

    Good day all,
Are there any resources out there for doing a conversion ?
I remember there were a handful back in early 2000's, but as it seems, not many provide a conversion "Kit" at this time, or are in business(That I have found)
    Looking for designs/drawings etc.
Not looking for free information, but if its available, I'd be ok with that :P
    Appreciate any information.
    Current chassis is RF99
    Cheers,
    VD

Most were actually converted in the late 2000s (F1000 didn't exist until 2007) and all but one were converted using a kit designed by Jay Novak (Novakar) and manufactured by Dave Piontek: https://piontekengineering.com/?p=4
Jay is no longer involved and I'm not sure if Dave is still building parts. If I recall correctly, there were either 9 or 10 Van Diemens converted using the Nova kit. The fastest VD F1000 was converted by Jeremy Hill using his own design. These days that might be the only option unless you can get one of the current owners to provide some reverse engineering of the kit.

I have a 1 of 1 converrsion done by Mike Devins of Hurley Race Products that had been a DSR conversion from a 98 Van Diemen.
Mike D. has the engine covers, side pods, floors and under trays for the Nova Diemen.

Maybe you should get the car on track with the Pinto first Shawn then decide after driving it.

That's great advice. F1000 is a blast but you'll have bigger fields in FC.
