1994 Crusader Formula Vee
The car is complete and ready to race at the front. I've had the car for close to 15 years and in that time made many modifications to make it a front running car. Some details on the car:
Performance
- Ron Chuck National Engine
- Roxanne Header & VSR collector
- Penske shocks front and rear
- Upgraded to Mysterian bodywork for better aero
- AIM MXL dash logger & sensors
Ergonomics
- At 5'10" and 160 lbs I fit comfortably in the car and usually add about 10 lbs of lead to make weight. Removing the beadseat it will comfortably fit someone of 6'
- I repositioned a new shifter closer to the steering wheel and redesigned pedal assembly to create more room for driver comfort and allow left foot braking.
Maintenance
- Ethan Shippert rewired the whole car including integrating the data logger before Sonoma runoffs.
- Carbotech brakes have two race events on them.
- Engine has two race events since it was freshened.
History
- Numerous race wins & podiums against the most competitive cars / drivers on the west coast
- 2011 SF Region FV Champion – Back when regionals were running 15+ cars per event
- 2014 Finished 3rd at Laguna Seca National Championships
- 2018 Qualified 8th and ran as high as 5th at Sonoma National Championship
Car comes with a small amount of random spares and is located in San Francisco Bay area.
$8500
