SOLD 5/12/2019 to a great guy - new FF racer!
Just got this car back ready for the track. 1985 Swift DB-1 that was run very successfully up until sold to a new owner who developed serious health issues and was never able to run it. I picked it up as a freshen up project and because I only had two racecars at the time......................; )
I plan on having the car at La Junta May 3-5 to shake it down and get a new annual tech done. Looking to find it a new home. $12,900 at this point - more if I put a new paint job, etc. (See 5/5/29 post for latest sage update - motor inversion issues ; {

The negative about this car are just some cosmetics if you are picky - the side panels are 50/50 = look perfect at 50ft and 50 MPH - Nose and tail are excellent - just put your color on them.
Frame could stand painting - it is in good condition and floor is solid.
A Arms and rockers could all stand an afternoon of taking off, scuff sanding then a little satin black paint.
Come take a look this weekend at La Junta - I will shake it down and of course fix any bugs I find - I hope to have track video after that event.
Again - $12,900 is a lot of car and a ton of spares for the money - a proper setup Swift can run with anything out there - why pay more?
I have had good luck shipping across the country with a local husband/wife private contractor. Price is fair and they are prompt to CONUS.
Thanks for looking!
