I looked in the video and didn't see it. It was a blueish silver with a Holbay Ford engine. His co-driver buggered the gearbox and my dad was able to jam it into 3rd gear with a hammer out on the...
My dad was in this race in an Elva 7.

You shouldn't be driving that car without the head surround.

I think you might be talking about Accu Wright fiberglass in Cahokia, IL. I've been told they have done some race car work in the past.
Let me know what you find out.

It doesn't appear in the P1 engine table.
I don't think turbochargers are allowed in P1.
Yes, I received everything except couple of sections that were out for polishing which I should get in a week or so.

Thanks for the replies, good to hear. He's had my rim sections for a couple of months. I know in the past he waits until he has enough to send out for heat treating, I suspect things are really...
I've had no luck reaching Ryan at Jongbloed wheels, I've tried calling and leaving a message, e-mailing and Facebook messenger, does anybody know what's going on? Maybe they're shut down because of...
It would depend on specs if it is P2 elgible, for example roll bar size, material and thickness. In person it's very small.
I saw this at PRI, didn't really have time to look at it closely. Would be a fun track day car if you didn't get punted off by a Nissan GTR.
I did at the time, but that was 40 lbs. ago! (and about 30 years).

Not exactly the same models, but I had both a Chevron B34 and a Ralt RT-5. The Ralt was a much more sophisticated car and much faster....and more fun to drive once I got used to the tunnels.

Thanks, that's the info I was looking for.

If a guy wanted to run a PFM in FS, how hard is it to get more power out of the Genesis engine and will the gearbox handle it?
Mike M.
Thanks, that sounds encouraging.

I went to the race at Gateway a couple of weeks ago and looked at the tub and was surprised at the size. I'm just not sure about the width of the opening in the front roll structure to the foot box....
I'm considering buying a PFM, but I'd like to sit in one to see how it feels before I pull the trigger, any PFM owners near St. Louis that would be willing to let me sit in their car? I haven't...
I don't see how the camera car passes the broomstick test.....the front roll hoop looks too low.

Mike,
If you end up bringing a car to Gateway, I'll buy you a beer (or 2) at my nightclub....I might even show you my Prince.
Talk to you soon,
Mike Major
It says on their web site "sold in packs of 36". I don't know anybody that might need that much hose except Lee Stohr! Were you able to buy in smaller quantities?
