Chassis construction doesn't appear to meet any of the design regulations...
Is that red tank thing over the gearbox the fuel tank?
You'll have to find a new tank and new home for that.
This was an AUTOCROSS car .. and likely will never be anything else. If you plan to do AX, it should be fine with some work and tires.

Looks like that is a 411 engine, might even be 2 liter. Looks like fun for autocross. U must figure out a safer fuel tank. It could be a lot of fun for not much expense.
It would be hard and impractical to try to convert it to a W2W race car.
I did something similar in 1974
I'm fairly certain that the chassis doesn't allow for the adequate clearance above your helmet as required by SCCA rules, but that does depend on the height of your head/helmet when properly seated in the car. The FST class does use disc brakes; front should be a simple swap (including the spindle) but the rears require a bit more attention to minimize the side to side movement of the axles - OK with drums, but not discs. There is a FV to FST conversion guide I can send you, that might be helpful, but it does depend on your starting point.
