Fixed 1st gear ratios for FF 1600

I have a 81 PRS with Hewland MK9 that I will autocross this year. Currently it is set up for road racing so I need to switch to a fixed 1st gear. Looking at the ratio options makes my head hurt. Looks like available ratios are 12:38, 13:38, 13:37, 14:36 and 15:36. Please help me make sense of these

Whats your ring gear, will make a big difference in you're choice.

I have a fixed 1st gear ratio set in my stash…….Don’t know the ratio off hand. If you’re interested, I’ll take a look.
