Check your rules first. Does it need to be SFI or FIA compliant? Also space can be at a premium in Formula Fords and Formula Vee's
Oher considerations would be:
Clean Agent of Foam System - Both have there good and bad attributes.
Manual or Automatic System - Again, Both have there attributes of cost difference
Most Formula cars can get away with a (2) Nozzles system - Driver and Engine
Make sure system comes with the "E" Sticker
Systems with Aluminum Tubing make a nice install.
NEVER - mix and match plumbing and nozzles
I have been in the racing safety business for many years and I cant tell you how many Fire Systems I have seen and serviced that are inadequate

This is dated Jan 24, but the Dec 24 version is identical.
I replaced the antiquated foam system in my Van Diemen last year. I went to a Novec system from Lifeline. I put pictures up on Facebook, under the Formula Continental group, let me know if you want me to post here. Novec is heavier than air so I put the nozzles up high, 2 on the engine side and 1 in the cockpit. The system comes with everything you need. Just don't rush the installation, take your time.
I would appreciate a pic as I don't have FB
Thank you
If you have some time, I understand Lifeline has bought SPA. I have the Novec SPA 17.2 system which is the smallest bottle I have seen, if space is a premium. It is probably one of the lightest on the market also for the price.
it is the same size as the old Lifeline bottles. When I spoke to Lifeline a few years ago, they had no plans for a smaller bottle, but now…

The Lifeline Zero 360 is one of my more popular systems for Formula Fords, Formula Vee's and Sports Racers.
