2025 Summer Sizzle @ MRRA (Road Atlanta) with FV, FF, & F600

Hello everyone, I am John Fine, the Chief Steward for the 2025 Summer Sizzle @ Road Atlanta with a bonus Majors Race for FV, FF, & F600 so that they may qualify for the 2025 Runoff's @ Road America.

I know it's early in the season, but for planning purposes I am attempting to get a feel for the number of small bore formula cars that will be attending this race. Driver feedback from you the drivers of those cars will help me ensure that we have adequate time on our race schedule to ensure that you have a great race experience at a Destination RACE TRACK!!

My goal is to have the initial schedule for the weekend done by the middle of February 2025, so your input is desired. Reply on this thread or contact me @ jefine3878@gmail.com.

Yes, it's early but never too early to get the ball rolling!

I'm part of a group of FF drivers working with other drivers to improve our car counts in these events. This event is on our radar as one we are going to get behind, along with FV and I think F6 drivers. If there is an area where us small bore members could corral ourselves together, we think that would add to the attractiveness of this race weekend!

Although we haven't had the first major of the year yet, the SE Div events in FL look well attended for FF so I think this one will be too.

No schedule in front of me, but what is the date?
test day?

Is the Summer Sizzle Race July 19 & 20 going to be a Majors Race in 2025? I normally do this event in FC, but I was thinking it was always a SARRC race, and not a Majors, or is it a combination SARRC/Majors?

Anyway, great of you for polling the FV/FF/F600 group before setting the schedule.

Yes Paul, according to the schedule I was sent and posted here, it's a Bonus Major for small bore open wheel cars that were removed from the March HST event:

FYI, the Bonus Major at MO Aug 9-10 is also of interest to me but John was only asking about the July Summer Sizzle event.

Just a quick reminder, the 2025 Summer Sizzle Double SARRC and Bonus Majors is only 79 days away. I have completed the first editions of the Supps and Schedule. Current plans are for two Qualifying Sessions and for FV, FF, F600 & CF to have their own Qualifying and Race Sessions. I will do everything in my power to ensure that this happens. However, it also depends on YOU making the Commitment to attend this Event.

Road Atlanta will be hosting a Test Day on July 18 for those interested.
