Wondering what people are using. I'm using the NAPA/Wix 1335 "shorty", which fits nicely, but its been suggested I do a better job with filtration. 1335 is 2.5" tall, by my calcs at best I can only fit another 1.25" before it can't fit (need min of 3/4" for the pipe).
Trying to fit an adapter, lines, and remote would be a bit of a packaging nightmare.
3.5" tall. That's what I've been using for over 30 years.
I'm using the same filter. Considering the low mileage between oil changes I don't see an issue.Quote:

The only disadvantage I could see with the small one you've been using is possible restriction due to thick oil on startup, which could be exacerbated with the smaller filter. Rick, as I recall MANN W 712/38 fit my 94/95
I use Redline and change it every off season so only about 5 races. Each race for me is about 1 hour of total track time. While track dependent that averages about 100 miles so roughly 500 miles on the oil.Quote:
