Wanted open top steering wheel, and VD Center lock wheels for FF

Not sure if this is an option for you but I cut the top off of a normal wheel, then dipped the cut ends in Plasti-Dip. Worked fine for me.

Another option in the same vein as RussMcB's suggestion, is to cut of the upper section of your existing steering wheel, wrap tape around the cut-off ends (forming a well) and filling the 'well' with epoxy. You can then then contour the cured epoxy to smooth the edges. I got this tip from another poster on APEX and it worked well for me.

They also make vinyl end caps that can be slipped over the cut sections and glued in place..

I have an open top Momo 9 7/8" that was drilled for a quick release and a radio push to talk. They are $199 new from Pegasus. Make me an offer I can't refuse. I will be out of town until 12/2 and could ship it after that.
