1999 GForce IRL IndyCar Restoration - Down Under

Hi All,

I have recently started getting a bit more serious about "restoring" a 1999 GForce IRL Indycar, Type GF01, Chassis GF-014, IRL #30. I imported it from North America in 2009 as a roller, unfinished project. Photos below.

It was driven in the 1999 Indy 500 by Jimmy Kite, and various others in other races.

As you can see, it is fairly complete, with engine, ECUs, looms etc. The engine is an Oldsmobile Aroura, but I am unsure if it is the original 4 Litre Gen 1 variant, or upgraded to the 3.5 Litre "Gen 1.5".

I would like to make contact with folk in the US (or elsewhere!) who have experience with working on these. If you know someone who may be interested could you please introduce me. My main focus at the moment is the engine, starting procedures and such.

i m jacques i ve the same engine bought in UK several year ago for fitting on a 89D reynart F3000 the engine is new rebuilt but still for methanol i m not the best specialist , i m looking desesperatly for the wiring diagram to fit an ecm MOTEC or looking for a stock ecm ( and a dash ) i knew Gray TROUT performance witch had parts but no response since several months here is the pic i know a guy in UK who is skilled in this engine https://www.apexspeed.com/forums/att...d=101264&stc=1
