ECU Plugs/Connectors/Pins - 07/08 GSXR1000
I have a Stohr WF1 running an 07/08 Suzuki GSXR1000. One of the plugs that connect to the ECU has a few broken pins and been struggling to get this car to start. I have a few questions in hopes someone out there might have some additional ideas.
1. I have a new plug connector with wires/pins in it, however I know i'll need to have a few spare female pins (the ones on the plug/connector side) available. No idea what size or a source for these if anyone know, greatly appreciated.
2. Been struggling to get car to start. Done full inspection of wiring harness, which has definitely been cut and modified to bypass numerous things. The thing is that the car was fine until we took the back end off to repair the rear diff. Put it all back together and now it will crank, but doesn't spark or throw fuel into the engine. We've bypassed the tip over, side stand, etc. and other typical things that lead to those two items happening. We did cut the 100ohm resistor to repair as part of the ignition bypass, only to see a new error code get thrown for C42, Ignition Switch Circuit. The thought here is that the ECU thinks the bike is stolen and thus the anti-theft defense has kicked in killing the spark and fuel. Any thoughts or opinions on that? Also assuming that i need to flash the ECU to get rid of this memory it has, which requires me to replace one of the broken pins from above in #1.
Thanks
Bill
