The NEFV Championship Series (sponsored by: Vee Sport Racing, Autowerks Engines, Advantage Motorsports, Quixote Racing, Revolution Motorsports, Hoosier Tires, & Penske Shocks) returns to Thompson Speedway on October 5th and 6th for rounds 9 &10 of the series. With one week remaining until the event 21 have already signed up and the championship is down to the wire.

Only 1 points separates the top two (Chris Barry and defending champion Mike Hinkle). Only 3 points between first and third place and only 14 total points between the top five.
