Very tempting as it looks like the new F1000 series is really starting to gain traction. Looking at the grouping though makes it less than attractive.......50 some cars with seven different classes on track at the same time......what could possibly go wrong? My experience has been spending most of my track time cruising behind a pace car at those kinds of groupings.
I am looking forward to the FRP series and the single class racing it provides. When I compare the cost per minute of green flag racing, it's a no-brainer.
Maybe run the F1000 series with FRP next year?
Does anyone know the load-in info for the test day? Thanks!
VIR load in is usually starting at 5 pm the day before the test day. I haven't seen anything this week but every event prior was like that.

Very entertaining race today. Nine cars in the lead pack whittled down to three with a few to go. Andy Brumbaugh captured a narrow win in his 20 year old Van Diemen-Kent over Zack Holden and John Benson.
Good Times ... Can you send me the results (breakdown)? or Post? Looking to develop a comparison table of the top runners as I am seeing comparable times from our Series folks to those running the Majors and other series (but without the slicks and tech advancements). THANKS!
FYI ... Looks like 47 cars, all Formula Fords at the J500. One Run Group, Spec Tire ... haven't seen anything like that since the 40th or the inception of the group in the early 70s
