1986 Reynard SF springs
In rebuilding my recently purchased Reynard I have been contemplating which springs to go with and purchasing shocks valved to the springs. The car has been sitting for 10 years and came with 400# Hypercoils on the front. The rears are old and rusty and of undetermined #s. Anyone who is running or has run one of these care to share your thoughts on what springs I should go with? I would appreciate any input. Thank you in advance!

isint this the year/model with the falling rate push rods? If so I would think finding correct spring rates should be very difficult for this car. If not buy a couple of sets up and down from what LBS is on there now.

Reynard
A correct 86 is a rare 'interim' car. Rockers both ends. Evolved into the much loved FF/SF 87-91.
It would be an 85 if it has pushrods. Google the Bridgestone Racing Academy. (Mosport)
There may be some old pictures.

Rockers both front and rear. Very similar to the 84 Reynards
