Lime Rock Historics – Entries close June 1st Act Now!

Formula Fordsters, Lime Rock Historic Festival entry closes June 1. You need to get your entries in immediately! The folks at Lime Rock have promised The Royale Formula Ford Challenge Series sponsored by Hoosier a dedicated run group, but we need a full grid by the June 1 deadline to lock it in. We’re looking for 10+ entries to guarantee our place at this great event and historic venue. We can’t have our own grid in 2017 (they’ve already committed to Formula Juniors), so the time to run Lime Rock is now! I ask . . .

It’s going to be a fun weekend with parties, amazing cars and great racing in a gorgeous area of the country at the perfect time of year. If you were not in the 20 at VIR and or you missed the fantastic time 31 of us had at Summit Point, you should not miss Lime Rock on Labor Day weekend. Support you Formula Ford Series and we will “show you a good time”.

Free raffles for a set of KFP brake pads and a pair of Hoosier tires in each class (including the new third class of post-Club, pre-aero cars). A $100 voucher for cryogenic or REM treatment and 2 cases of Amsoil synthetic oil will also be given away.

The event also includes our customary fun FF-only Sunday night cookout (after we exhibit our Formula Fords as a group at the car show). You’ll also earn points towards the three Royale- Series trophies made especially for us by Graham Long.

One more thing - if you're not sure what your schedule looks like for Labor Day weekend at this early date, you can request a full refund from Lime Rock Park until August 21. So, if you're "on the fence", you can put your entry in now to guarantee a spot and back out later if you must.

Lime Rock Historics: - we have 25 entries to date, double last year. Well done all. I know a few were on the fence, we can take an additional 5 cars but we need to know by July 25th. Its a Formula Ford only run group. Email me at bbradpiece@gmail.com. More to come on the program.

FYI, Jefferson 500 - we had 31 cars and a great weekend, despite the occasional rain - hey, its Summit Point! For those interested enclosed is a pdf of the Victory Lane article.

We will shortly start taking entries for the busy September- October schedule - New Jersey Lightening, Watkins Glen and Dominion Raceway. More to come in a couple of weeks.

We are getting miles on the Hoosier tire and they seem to hold up very well - consistent and forgiving.
