I saw that Kent. You would have been all alone in 2nd place.

Headed to Blackhawk in three weeks with a tie for the points lead in the OFR Challenge!
This is a bit off-topic, but I think it's safe to call the OFR Challenge a resounding success. As of today, FE is #3 in open-wheel Majors participation, behind only FV and FF.

It's been great to see all these cars in CenDiv this year, and we've had some really good racing throughout the field. I hope everyone is planning to come back for 2016, especially since the Runoffs will be a lot closer to home.
Rounds 8 & 9 were just completed at Blackhawk this weekend. The points race is tight with any of the top 5 able to win the Championship at Road America.
We've had 5 different winners this season, with 2 new winners this last weekend. Keith Carter took pole both days and won Race 1 after a duel with Dean Opperman. On lap 11, the lap times for the top three were only .047 seconds apart. Not to be outdone, they ran only .038 apart on lap 12! Denny Marklein got the win on Sunday. A good start propelled him into the lead at turn 1 and he led every lap. It wasn't easy though as Dean Opperman fought back from a 4 second gap to close within .7 at the checkered! Dean set fastest lap on the last lap of the race. Michael Mueller got his first podium of the season as about 1 second blanketed the field in Sunday's qualifying.
Here are the updated points leading into the last race weekend.
