Sunoco is back in 2014!

Sunoco Race Fuels is returning to the US Formula 1000 Championship in 2014 and will once again be backing the Sunoco Hard Charger Award. Like last year, the Sunoco Hard Charger Award will be a cash prize that will be paid at every race on the 2014 regular-season schedule. Over the first five weekends and first ten races of both the East and West Championships, the driver that advances the most positions from his official qualifying position to his official race finish position will win $150 per race. A grand total of $3,000 will be paid out during the regular season. At the season-ending Runoffs at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, the Sunoco Hard Charger will win $500!

Qualifying position will not include any penalties or tardiness to the grid. Finishing position WILL include any penalties or DQs.
