Thanks to Dave Hopple, world famous Piper driver. He originally posted this over on F1600.com. Great ideas need to be copied. Go to the site below to better understand how you the SCCA member have an effect on the rule making process.

Mr. Froggie,
As always you have absolutely great information to offer to the rest of us.
To anyone who reads the process closely, I ask:
Who suggested to reduce the life of restraint systems.
Just kidding. This is really good information to have and the Frog has once again been a help to us all.

I had to recover from mistaking a Tiga for a Crossle... (I did warn you guys that I was going to drink lunch last Friday )
Thank Hopple, he did it first. I just stole the idea.
The main point of the process description is that the rules makers don't have time to read all the web forums. So writing it here does not insure you will be heard in Topeka.

I am world famous? Infamous maybe, I'm still working on that ;) -Dave
P.S. Has anyone found where the Unwritten Rules of the SCCA are? I have looked everywhere. ;)

I think you will find them in your wallet...
The little green fun tickets with George's face on the front.

You'll find Ben Franklin gets a lot more done and quicker then George does.
If you have a very rare William McKinley, you've got it made !
