Star has a rebuild program in place. I hear that there are only literally a handful of engines left on the shelf :confused:
That car would be so much better with the back half of a DP-02 bolted to it...
Mazda just announced, as part of their support announcement for 2012 IMSA lites, was that the 2.3 liter engine used in the DP02 in IMSA will be swapped out for the 2.0l MZR Mazda engine for 2012 running at 230 HP.Quote:

Nope Jim, Star is rebuilding the engines from parts. There are no more crate engines available from Mazda. No one should panic just yet, they stopped making engines for the original Formula Mazda over 10 years ago and Drummond is still able to provide engines for that car. Star Race Cars (and Drummond) will be able to provide us with engines for the Pro FM for many years to come.Quote:
