Is this an upgraded Kent Engine?
-
Yes
It is considered an uprated Kent engine with the GT cam, later model block, pistons, head. I think that is what you mean. If not let me know.

Kent Engine
Is this a cast iron crank and how many hours on crank
Is this a cast iron head
-
Crank and Head
Yes all FF cranks are cast, the latest iteration from SCCA is just an updated casting. This is one of the original castings that was magnafluxed, turned and polished. Number of hours I can't really say as I got it with the spares that came with my Swift and I sent it out to the crank shop to be prepped.
Head is a cast iron head, I do have an aluminum head that I could sub for the iron head for an additional $800.
Thanks

Engine questions
Hello Joe,
Forgive me if Im asking the same question again Im just trying to learn as much as possible about your enging.
So the crank is a Ford crank and not a SCAT crank ; is this correct?
How much has been turnrd off the crank, what size main and rod bearings?
Have the cylinders been bored, How much
How much matl has been remover from valve seats
Has the engine been on the dyno, what did it produce?
-
Engine Details
Yes standard Ford Crank not the new Scat/SCCA Crank
Turned 10/10
Cylinders are standard as they were sleeved.
Valve seats are fresh with only a single cut on them (i.e. they are not sunk in the head)
No dyno - if you would like it dyno'd we can put it on the dyno for $650
