I repaired the chassis and removed the rear sub. You can see in the photo I fabbed the lower rear sub, but it needs to be welded to the chassis. I bought many new parts for the car, some of which are in the photos. There's a new rack, bodywork, front/rear hubs, brakes rotors, rear axle, brake and sprocket hubs, front lower controll arms. Good straight wheels, upgraded front billet uprights, good fuel cell. I have basically everything to complete the car as a F600 including an 05 CBR600rr. Or you could finish the car as a F500.
Excellent winter project!!!

Chris, Sounds like an interestring project & if you were closer to Atlanta I'd take a look. I've thought about the possibility of converting one of these cars into a FS car & using the sport bike 600 cc engines with their 18,000 RPM would produce a tune much closer to F1 than the FB cars turning around 12K RPMs. The minimum weight for FS is 750 lbs without driver & replacing the rubber cushion suspension with some real shocks should make them handle just fine considering they're not bad as is. ;)

There's a CBR600rr motor in the garage also......
The car is ready for the conversion, I've spent a million hours figuring it all out, even had several engineers look into it. It's a great idea, cost effective, fun!!!!
Drop me a line......

my old car
I think this was my old car. My dad is a superb machinist and made some nice parts for it. We sold it after I tried to take t1 at Grattan flat out and landed next to the road upside down. I'd like to see what it looks like now as I am in the market again.

Yup, it's your old car alright!!!
Hey Jer!!! It's all there, I fixed a couple of botched repairs, but the rear clip is off waiting on a QRE setup. All new rockers, belcranks, rack, bodywork etc.....
Send me your email, I'll send some pics...
