You just never know where you are going to find a car you could be interested in. Being virtually on the west coast it seems that there are an abundance of cars in the mid-west and the east but there hard to come by out west. When you are a budget racer looking at cars in the lower price ranges the $2000 to $3,000 shipping cost to get it to my area is a big factor. Just to prove my point when I was looking for an S2000 Sports racer some years back after looking and looking and posting on message boards the search paid off for me. I found a nice car that I ended up buying and the owner who, hadn't run it for several years after grenading the motor, lived a block and a half from me. At the time I was looking at cars in Florida, Georgia, VA etc., so being persistant and patient, and finding that car at a reasonable price so close saved me well over $4000 in shipping since it came with a lot of spare parts and bodywork and a dual axle enclosed trailer for what it would have cost to get a simular car with a few extra gears from the east.

Happy with the record, maybe I'll set a new one on the Formlua car search.:)
