We have what may be the premiere karting track in the country in So.Cal. It's Moran Raceway (Rocky and Rocky Jr. built it) and this is some pretty cool video of it at speed! Go to this link and find the post by Larry Andrews with the connection to the video....trust me it's worth it!
What an awesome track! I wish we had a kart track this good in the Northeast. I wonder what was behind the naming of the corner called "Full Wood Sweeper"? Michael, thanks for the post.
I did over a 100 laps there last weekend in a shifter and the "corkscrew" and "bus stop" are just plain AWESOME! The whole track is so well laid out and flows so perfectly that I wish it was for big cars. Rocky Sr and Jr did a fantastic job on every aspect. I may just have to buy another kart!
