Possible, but I doubt it. This Staffs is a replacement transaxle.

I am guessing the other one was the one that Jim Trueman ran in FA in Nationals in 1979 then switched to a Ralt for the runoffs. Or is this his old car.

...I was just going to ask the same thing- I know Chip Mead drove a Bobsy for Trueman at Road America in 1980 or so shortly before the two parted company.

As the keeper of the Bobsy Registry, I contacted Dan to see if this "Last" Bobsy FA car was still for sale. He said, "I still own the Bobsy FA and it is still for sale. I had it on the track last year." The car is featured at the bottom of the Bobsy Registry History page.

    So. . . . Anyone interested??

I remember, and maybe Steve Demeter can confirm - a white Bobsy Atlantic that ran at IRP in the early to mid eighties at least. It had a BDA. if one was able to find results sheets from the Indy region nationals, and the Ft Wayne and Cincinnati region regionals from that time frame that car will be there.

We ran 5 or 6 races a year at IRP. There was the April national an a July national, a June driver's school, the Ft Wayne regional, and the WOR games, maybe one more at the very end of the season.

IRP was great in the 80's. I just noticed that in pic #3 it looks like a pinto engine. Obviously a change from FA configuration.. I vaguely remember a white one in the late 70's er;y 8's but darned if I can remember who drove it.
