    Default Avimo Couplings

My March 79V, and I'm sure many other Marches of the same era, uses Avimo Couplings to couple the water pipes on either side of the chassis, just behind the seat-back panel. The molded rubber sleeves are old and hard and I would like to replace them.

Does anyone know of a source of these parts in the US? I believe they are still made by Taunton Aerospace in the South West of the UK, but I'm hopeing there is a US distributor or maybe a motorsports distributor although I don't think they have been used for years. They appear to be an early version of a Wiggins clamp, and I've seem pictures of the used on WW2 Warbirds!

I've gotten them in the past from Tony @ Robin Automotive at Sears Point. You can try him at 707-935-9353.

    Good luck!
