Default KY:1984 Van Diemen Formula Ford

Looking to sell my Formula Ford, enclosed trailer and all the spare parts. I'm bored with autox and this thing is just taking up space.

I don't know much about these cars but I can certainly get the answers to any questions you might have. Bruce at Unique Automotive knows everything about this car and has done all the maintenance work. The motor was rebuilt 3 or 4 years ago and has 10-12 autox events and 1 track day on it. It comes with 3 sets of wheels and tires, one set of autox tires with 4-5 events on them, one set of rain tires and one set with old autox tires. I'll have to inventory my spare parts but I know it has a spare carb, control arm and a few different sets of gears among other things.
Included is an 18ft enclosed PaceAmerican trailer. I'll get some pictures of the inside. The trailer has shelves in front for tools and parts, a winch and a tire rack on one side wall. The floor is done in white and black checkerboard plastic tiles for easy cleaning.

I'm asking 11k for everything, I'll even deliver it to you within a reasonable distance.

I don't believe so but some of the names in the logbook are impossible to decipher.

Default KY:1984 Van Diemen Formula Ford

I sold this car to the current owner. I bought it in Florida, in 2004 / 2005. I did a complete bare frame restoration of the car at Unique Automotive, complete with new wheel bearings (hard to find, and expensive), brake system, and heims the winter of 2005/06. The next winter, Bruce Domeck, at Unique Automotive rebuilt the engine. I replaced the steering rack, master cylinders, and tach the winter of 2007 / 2008. The car was also repainted the winter of 2007 / 2008. Health issues in 2008 forced me to quit racing.

The car was very relieable and dependible, and quite easy to drive as a raod racer. For autocrossing, the "cab forward" driver's position was great.

I sold it as health reasons forced me to quit racing, and autocrossing had lost some of it's appeal. The car was very sound, and I would repurchase it in a minute, if I could go road racing again.

    Chris,

Think your best results would come from emailing or PM to Scott directly. As you can read from previous posts, this might not be the best/quickest contact.

Don't be afraid to make an offer guys, I've had numerous people ask me for a price on the car by itself or with parts and no one bothers to get back to me or even make a counter offer.

Still offering a $500 finders fee. This is the only thing standing between me finishing my other car.
