Default Formula Vee for Sale CHEAP

Hello folks, I have a formula vee project car for sale and thought I'd let you all know here at Apex Speek. It's on ebay right now, it's a Mysterain with number 85 on the bodywork. Search on ebay under "formula vee" and go into the "other vehicles and trailers" and "race cars" and "road racing" categories. The car is in Glen Burnie, MD, and must be sold fast because I'm moving out due to divorce.

The car is priced low, to sell fast, and the first reasonable cash offer gets it. I can deliver for a dollar a mile from the 21061 zip code. Please see the ebay listing for full details, including a photo of the noble engine.

    Quentin,
I think you better check your info on the car since ebay bidders want accurate descriptions, even for cheap cars. That looks alot more like a modified Lynx/Caracal (perhaps custom Lynx-clone) than any Mysterian I have ever seen.
    Good luck with the sale!

thank you so much for your comment, I am more than willing to edit and update the descriptions as soon as someone can tell me 100% with total confidence exactly what the car is. I apologize, but the original owner in 08' said nothing about a lynx or a caracal, so I'm subject to thinking the car is something else.....

Anyone who knows with surety please instruct......................

    Thanks so much!!!

Greg is correct. Can't be for sure what it is (99% its some form of Lynx B or clone), but what it isn't is any Mysterian that Kurt LeMay built.

That statement I am 100% sure of.

    Quentin,

I know the previous owners and believe that car is a Lynx B or Caracal C?

    Thanks!

It's a trailing arm car, so Lynx B or clone. Caracal C is a leading arm car.

Trailing arms are modified, they have been extended.

Bruce makes a good observation. I'd bet it's a clone (tons of Lynx B clones in this world) as the trailing arms are longer (pick ups much further forward than Lynx B)

    Default Noble engine ?

Seems to me that if in fact the engine was a Noble and it's in decent shape, isn't the engine worth $2000 by itself ?

I would think so, but since the engine has sat for a few years without running it will likely need new rings and a going over, so we're back to thinking the whole setup is worth 2 grand and not just the engine. Had the engine been freshly built, put in a car, and pulled out of a car this year, then heck yeah I'd demand 2 or 3 just for it.

But considering it has sat a while, and should be gone through, I'm willing to concede.

    Quentin,

I think you bought the car from Tim Woods? The problem is that the FV selling market is down, even more so from a few years ago. Apex is most likely one of the best places to find a buyer for the car. List it here (with a price) and listen to offers.

    I'd bet you'll find a buyer here.
