Darryl Wills running Indy tomorrow

As some of you may know, FM's National Champ Darryl Wills is piloting the Hillenberg Indy Lights car this season. Follow him in Q today (1:15 Indy time) and in the race tomorrow in the Indy Lights Freedom 100 at Indy. Noon I believe.

No scuttlebutt, just have not seen his name on the results sheet for practice or qualifying.

Running Sage Karem's car at LOR on Sat. night in Star Mazda then to the Speedway Sun. morning to fuel Saavedra's car in the 500.

No Darryl, that's the first thing I noticed when I looked at the opening practice times. He was going well at a Lights open test day at Fontana a couple weeks ago when he crashed. I HOPE they just decided to skip Indy and will make the rest of the season. Keep living the dream for us D-Dub!

my indy lights season is on hold pending sponsorship funding. these cars are stupid expensive to run and hillenburg has been financing this adventure out of their own pocket. our title sponsor made the first payment back in february and not another one since. Sooooo, as soon as that mess is cleared up we will go racing.
