    Default Yes

The RF81 is famous as a car in which Senna was a winner. Who had this car before you and your dad, Christian?

Yes it does. It has been very successful for us as well. It will continue to have
a great history with its next owner. It is an excellent CF.

    Default MY BABY!!!!!!!

I miss this car. The car was originally owned by J.J. Carlin actually (sorry to correct). I bought it from Jay in 1998 and owned it for 4 or so years. The car is VERY fast. Mike Rand once told me "if you EVER decide to part with that RF81, please call me first." Well, I did call him and he had just bought an RF80 and was no longer in the market. During one winter, the car spent 3 months inside of the garage of Norman Geary in Fort Lauderdale. Norman was my dad's wrench when he won his Pro Atlantic Championship in 1988. That was his second one, Mike Angus drove a Stuart Moore/Norman Geary prepared Atlantic to the title in 1985. My point is, the boy can wrench. ANYWAY, the car was completely gone through during that period, with new aluminium "siding" and hardware. Norman actually started his racing career as a fabricator for Shadow and Toleman F1in the Early 80's. Great Car. Great Memories. Anybody wanna buy some Commercial Real Estate so I can buy it back????

your are correct, I only looked at the names listed in the back of the log books.
Jeff Carlin did own this car first.
It can still be yours again.

    Default All Ex-RF81 Owners

I think all of us who once owned an RF81 would like it. I had mine for 15 years. They are very nice, fast cars with excellent parts availability.

    Default Bidding

Maybe the bidding can start when we get Rand involved. He missed his old RF81 and expressed serious interest in mine when I was selling it. He sold a Crossle so now he has cash and space! I don't know how he can take such pleasure in not driving and being a race organizer. Maybe we should start calling him "Bernie."

    Default Rf81 now in midwest

I bought the car and ran last weekend at blackhawk
I was running 2nd in CF when the Allen bolt that retains the shifter shaft seal backed out and wouldn't allow 2nd or 4th gears!
Oh well I felt much better when I got home and watched the Indy 500!

I'm looking forward to sorting things out and running some more Midwestern Council races this summer

    Thanks Christian!

    Default Rains

Probably not, I did use them the weekend of the Blackhawk race. If I sell them to you, then every race I go to will rain!
