Condition #5: Like new condition - the dogs are in excellent shape.
Condition #4: Great condition, very small amount of wear noticable
Condition #3: Dogs may show a small amount of rounding on the edges
Condition #2: Shows some wear, but still very usuable.
Condition #1: Gear has some dog wear and/or may have some minor surface issue

All Gears (including the "1" ranking) are what I consider usable. I have another dozen ratios that I'm not even listing that rank below a 1 that I would have to think twice about putting them in a Hewland.
